PicText collects minimal data necessary for functionality:

• Camera Access: Required to capture images of documents for text extraction.
• Images: Sent securely to cloud-based AI services for text extraction. Images are processed in real-time and not stored on our servers.
• Text Data: Sent to cloud-based AI services for translation and analysis. Not stored permanently.
• Usage Credits: Stored locally in your device's secure storage. No account registration required.
• Analytics & Crash Data: We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to improve app stability and performance.
• Advertising Data: We use Google AdMob to display ads, which may collect data to show relevant advertisements.

Third-Party AI Processing

Important: When you use PicText's translation or AI analysis features, your text and/or images are sent to Google's Cloud services for processing. By using these features, you consent to your data being processed by Google's systems. Google may process this data according to their Google Cloud Terms of Service.

PicText uses the following third-party services that have their own Privacy Policies:

• Google Cloud Services – For text extraction and analysis
• Google AdMob – For advertising
• Google Analytics for Firebase
• Firebase Crashlytics

Data Retention

PicText does not store your images or text on our servers. All processing is done in real-time via API calls. Usage credits are stored locally on your device and can be deleted by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Our application does not require account registration and does not store user data on external servers. Any data processing is performed by the third-party services listed in this policy. Please refer to the privacy policies of these service providers for their practices regarding children's data.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. All data transmitted to third-party APIs is sent over secure HTTPS connections.
